About Sir. E.H Simpson
Simpson’s forest is a subtropical mountain forest patch which is situated in the Wattegama Elkaduwa Road. Located at an attitude of 1300M above sea Level. This so called Simpson’s forest patch was protected by the former planter named Sir. E.H Simpson from the British era also happen created a watershed which was later beneficial for the village community since had a continues water source even in the dry seasons. And for this reason he was highly appreciated by the local community.

Didn’t expect it to be this good. Came for a high tea and im so satisfied with the service, food and the warm hospitality from the gate to the cashier, wasantha at the restaurant was so professional in his service and had a very good observation on what the guests will want next, definitely a hidden gem. Give this place a try no regrets at all. Thank you and will definitely come with a bigger crowd next time. Cheers….!!
Came through a recommendation by Hunnas Falls Hotel . This hotel is an absolute hidden treasure. There is nothing to complain about. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location and the view from the pool was amazing. The food as well as the staff were outstanding, especially the manager Mr.Dilan. The website doesn’t do justice to the actual beauty of it. Definitely going back

This is my second visit to this magnificent hotel. Beautiful view, blends with the nature. Only 18 km from city of Kandy. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Stayed at this hotel for the 2nd time as we knew the experience will undoubtedly be great.They didnt have a buffet on our stay but the meals from the ala carte menu (4 course menu) were delicious as expected and they also provided some meals which were not in the menu on our request.The rooms were simple and very clean.The pool has a nice view where you can watch sunset.The environment was also soothing to the eye, and very quiet for a relaxing getaway.The staff was super friendly while maintaining professionalism.Overall the experience was excellent and can recommend to anyone.
